Welcome to the NanoMagTheory Group - web page!

Our research group conducts theoretical research work in the field of nanomagnetism and spin dynamics. The main research topics are related to theory of magnetism, electronic structure theory, and spin dynamics theory. We study magnetic materials using first principles methods based on Density Functional Theory, with a final goal to be able to predict the main magnetic properties of a material. We are particularly interested in the nanomagnets with non-collinear ordering.

The group is based mainly in Brazil, with collaborators in other parts of the world. Check out our team members.
